Should i finish this Dexter Lumis piece? #WIP
This is the first piece from my series entitled "Kids are Invaders". I initially got the inspiration and the idea from this series and the name of this series from something a professional said to me about kids which were "Kids are invaders". AI then decided to use my own experience and pains as a father to create an original and hopefully unique series of illustrations to help to illustrate how we as parents suffer through parenting. How hard it can be to just be yourself in your day to day life and how kids at like little aliens. This piece was inspired one morning when I was doing my morning meditation and both of my kids were jumping on me and screaming and interrupting my 10 minutes of focus by just being kids. This one is for all the parents out there. You are all doing an amazing job and you are committing one of the most esteemable acts a person can. It's not easy and you are not alone. Stay Weird
I think its time for a #TBT so here are some drawings from a sketchbook of mine form 2017. I wanted to show you this to say, practivce absolutely makes perfect. This is a significant truth of all crafts. I am an example of this and progress in your creative work only comes from practice. WEork everday on your craft and you will find you can only get better. Choose to make time to practice. Also keep a sketchbook and consider it your drawing journal. You won't regret it. Stay Weird
